Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking an experienced finance leader to head the site's financial performance. You will oversee the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow while partnering with site and divisional leaders to drive profitability with strong controls.

The role requires 10+ years post-qualification experience in large manufacturing, preferably pharma, with proven expertise in budgeting, capex, and senior stakeholder engagement. Strong communication and team management are essential.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA / MBA Finance (Tier 1) preferred.
• 10 years post-qualification experience.
• Big manufacturing experience with profitability focus, pharma preferred.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience managing a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead finance teams at the locations
• Own BS, P&L and Cash Flow for the site
• Pro-actively act as a business partner for the site and division
• Work close with various functions to improve site profitability without compromising on controls (Pricing, monetization opportunities, cost improvement / reduction initiatives)
• Working Capital management
• Drive annual budgeting process
• Ensure timely & accurate MIS reporting
• Analyse variations vs budget & previous year
• Review & approve capex proposal
• Ensure all site accounting activities are completed Costing, monthly close entries, Balance Sheet Hygiene. Work with shared services to ensure timely vendor payments, collections & accurate accounting.

Ensure compliance with internal policies (Credit & Accounting)

Key Competencies:

• Chartered accountant (Preferred) / CMA / MBA Finance (Tier 1)
• 10 Yrs post qualification experience
• Prior Business Finance experience at large manufacturing set up (preferably from Pharma) with hands on experience in driving profitability
