Job summary

SYSTRA India is hiring a Site Engineer-Overall ITC-3 to support ITC coordination for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project. You will assist senior experts, prepare ITC documents, and coordinate with contractors for scheduling, testing, and approvals on site.

Engineering graduates with 7–10 years of overall ITC experience in rail-based transit projects are preferred; Railway/Metro credentials are advantageous. This role focuses on field-level coordination to drive project milestones.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduates with 7 years (BE/B.Tech) or 10 years (Diploma) in Overall ITC during construction phase in rail-based transit projects.
• Railways/Metro Railways projects defined in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Expert in ITC coordination and related tasks.
• Prepare and issue ITC Overall Basic Document (Preliminary).
• Develop integrated Overall ITC Detail Plan with contractor plans.
• Coordinate with contractors/parties on scheduling and equipment installation.
• Witness tests related to Overall ITC and evaluate results with package engineers.
• Advise corrective actions and additional tests to contractors when needed.
• Examine countermeasures with package engineers for multi-package issues.
• Submit progress reports and recommendations on Overall ITC.
• Engage with CMRS/RDSO/authorities to obtain approvals; coordinate with ISA/contractors.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Site

Missions/Main Duties

> Assist Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the followingbut not limited to:

• Assist for acting as lead member in ITC Coordination team.
• Assist in preparing and issuing ITC Overall Basic Document based on the ITC Overall Basic Document (Preliminary).
• Assist in preparing integrated Overall ITC Detail Plan based on the ITC Overall Basic Document and Overall ITC Plans issued by each Contractor.
• Assist in Coordination between Contractors/Parties related to the Overall ITC, concerning matters such as scheduling and location for installing and attaching measuring devices on the Rolling Stock at the Depot.
• Assist in Witnessing the tests related to Overall ITC (as applicable).
• Assist in evaluating test results along with respective package Engineer and advise corrective actions and/or additional tests to the Contractors.
• Assist in Examining and determining countermeasures along with respective package Engineer against issues related to two or more packages.
• Assist to Issue summarized/ compiled progress reports and recommendation on the Overall ITC, at the appropriate time.
• Assist in submitting all necessary documents and have discussions etc. with CMRS / RDSO/ other Statutory Authorities to obtain approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with different parties i.e. contractors, ISA etc.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

> Assist Dy. Chief Experts in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to :

• Assist in Audit of all overall ITC activities and provide reports to the PD/Chief-Expert/Client(NHSRCL).
• Assist to act as lead member in ITC Coordination team.
• Assisting in Audit and review of the ITC Overall Basic Document, integrated Overall ITC Detail Plan and Overall ITC Plans issued by each Contractor.
• Assist in the Audit of the tests related to Overall ITC (as applicable).
• Assist in Auditing test results and advise corrective actions and/or additional tests to the Contractors.
• Assisting in Auditing the summarized/ compiled progress reports and recommendation on the Overall ITC.
• Assist and coordinate with different parties i.e. contractors, ISA, RDSO,CMRS etc.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client (NHSRCL).

> Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works. > Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience: Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience in Overall ITC duringconstruction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

*Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:

• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
