Job summary

SMEC is seeking a Site Engineer – Civil (Railway/ROB Project) to supervise civil works and manage site execution for ROB and railway projects at project sites in India. Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of civil experience and a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

You will coordinate with contractors and consultants, ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications, and maintain QA/QC and safety standards to achieve timely completion.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience: 3–5 years in civil projects, preferably ROB/railway.
• Knowledge of drawings, BOQ, QA/QC and safety practices essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute civil works for ROB and railway projects.
• Handle site execution for substructure, superstructure, piling, earthwork, and concreting.
• Ensure work adheres to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and site teams.

• Handle site execution for substructure, superstructure, piling, earthwork, and concreting.

• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams.

• Monitor daily progress, measurements, and maintain site records.

• Ensure safety compliance and timely completion of works.

Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
