Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in structural erection.
• Willingness to work on-site at Thoothukudi/Tada locations with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site erection, assembly, hoisting, and alignment of structural steelwork.
• Read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings and erection schemes.
• Ensure leveling, plumbness, bolt torque, and welding quality.
• Coordinate crane operators, riggers, and lifting crews.
• Collaborate with sub-contractors, project managers, safety inspectors, and clients.
• Assist in RA bills, sub-contractor measurements, and work order tracking.
• Enforce toolbox talks and safety protocols on-site.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detailed-oriented Site Engineer specializing in Structural Erection to oversee and manage on-site structural assembly, fabrication alignment, and erection activities. The candidate will ensure structural components (steel/pre-cast structures, trusses, columns, and beams) are installed safely, accurately, according to engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Erection & Assembly Supervision: Oversee the daily on-site assembly, hoisting, alignment, and erection of structural steelwork, pre-cast elements, and framing components.
• Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret structural drawings, fabrication drawings, alignment plans, and erection schemes.
• Quality & Precision Control: Verify leveling, plumbness, torqueing of high-strength bolts, line & level alignment, and structural welding quality.
• Equipment & Crane Operations Management: Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and lifting crews for heavy lifting operations, ensuring proper rigging plans and load management.
• Site Coordination: Work closely with sub-contractors, project managers, safety inspectors, and client representatives to ensure work progresses according to schedule.
• Billings & Measurements: Assist in preparing and verifying Running Account (RA) bills, sub-contractor measurement records, and work order tracking.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict site safety protocols (Toolbox talks, Working at Heights safety, PPE compliance, and Permit to Work systems).

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in structural erection (Industrial plants, PEB structures, high-rise structural steel, bridges, or heavy civil construction projects).
