Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site operations for road construction projects, including DLC, PQC , GSB, WMM, DBM, and BC layers.
  
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, labor teams, and third-party agencies to ensure smooth execution of work.
  
• Monitor and ensure quality control standards for materials and construction practices.
  
• Maintain project documentation including daily progress reports, material consumption, and labor deployment.
  
• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications provided by consultants/clients.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental standards at the site.
  
• Manage site logistics, resources, and equipment to minimize downtime.
  
• Liaise with local authorities or statutory bodies for permissions, inspections, and utility coordination as required.
  
• Assist in quantity estimation, billing, and subcontractor verification.
  
• Identify and resolve any technical issues or site-based challenges in real-time.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
  
• Minimum 3 to 10 years of experience in road/highway construction projects (National Highways, PWD roads, rural roads, etc.).
  
• Proficient in reading drawings and working knowledge of IRC, MORTH specifications, and relevant codes.
  
• Sound understanding of construction techniques, materials, and project execution.
  
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
  
• Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Nagpur preferred.
