We are looking for Senior Software Test Specialist!

You’ll make a difference by:

1. Being responsible for understanding the architecture and design of components and work in its end-to-end context.
2. Developing and executing product/feature specification test plans.
3. Aiding development of software test automation tool that interacts with switches and routers.
4. Reviewing and providing input to the product requirements and feature specifications, as a representative on a cross-functional team.
5. Providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and providing necessary help to teammates.

You’d describe yourself as:

1. An engineering graduate with 5 – 7 years of experience in testing Network products, preferably L2/L3 devices Tech/BE or MTech/ME in ECE/Computers, MCA, or equivalent degree.
2. Exposure to Embedded Systems; certification/training is appreciated.
3. Working knowledge of IP networking: Switching, Routing, and network standards from layer 1 on up through transport and application layers.
4. Experienced in Network Protocol testing – VLAN, RSTP, IGMP, IEEE802.1X, SNMP, NTP, Static/Dynamic routing, QoS, etc.
5. Good understanding of Linux (or any) OS internals, various management interfaces to configure network devices.
6. Working knowledge in Software engineering practices, Software Testing methodologies, Agile/Scrum based software development model.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.
