Siemens Energy Graduate Program – Information Technology (f/m/d)

What You Can Expect

Over the course of two years, you’ll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. You’ll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand.

From day one, you will work on meaningful projects with three individually designed assignments, including one eight-month assignment abroad (Covid permitting).

You will be assigned a mentor and will shadow a role or position to support you in reaching your individual career goals and network with peers and business leaders. You’ll also have access to the resources to help you grow.

You will be part of the Global Delivery Center team and share the same values and passions you have, transforming challenges into solutions and opportunities on a daily basis.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.

1. Participate in portfolio architecture designs, and guide technology direction within a portfolio of applications that are aligned with business Roadmaps.
2. Rationalization and optimization of application and technologies within one or more business domains.
3. Shape digital-led transformation strategies working with a multi-disciplinary team of strategists, technologists and experience designers.

What You Bring

1. Strong knowledge in defining IoT Hardware and Standards, development of IoT connectivity components utilizing industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT, MTConnect, ModBus etc.).
2. Architecting and designing the IoT Edge components and working with the development team on Designing / Developing Solutions.
3. Managing Project Portfolio, Business case evaluation and Performing PMO activities initiating, monitoring and controlling Projects including budgetary.
4. Strong knowledge in Project Portfolio Management, Business Case evaluation Forecasting and Cost controlling, project data analysis and reporting quality assurance.
5. Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment.
6. A master’s degree, doctoral degree, or equivalent in computer science/Information technologies with preferred specialization in IoT/Project Management/Enterprise architecture/ Digital Transformation.
7. Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working.
8. Excellent English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program.
