Responsibilities

  • Executes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and safety guidelines.
  • Operates machines in line with operating manual/work schedule/production order instructions.
  • Carries out routine setup and adjustments as well as simple repairs and fits simple replacement parts.
  • Performs regular maintenance of equipment, tool setup, and programming as needed.
  • Conducts shop floor operations in compliance with health and safety guidelines and reports non-compliance.
  • Performs regular quality testing as part of defined production processes; skill set varies by product complexity.
  • Maintains clean work area and adheres to SOPs.

Mission Statement

Support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Correctly use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. Read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. Operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality.

Your Responsibilities

  • Carries out routine set-up and adjustments as well as simple repairs and fits simple replacement parts.

  • The job may include regular standard maintenance of the equipment, set up of tools and programming.

  • Conducts shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.

  • The job may include regular quality testing as part of a defined production process. Skill set required depends on type of products and level of complexity.

  • Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.

Your Background
  • Diploma Degree with Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

  • 2-3 years of working experience as Shop Engineering preferably in Transformer Industry
