Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global talent acquisition strategies aligned with Shipsy's growth objectives, "Culture First" approach, and diverse regional needs.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for roles across various international locations and diverse functions (GTM, Tech, Product), including global sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Partner proactively with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand diverse staffing needs, workforce planning, and regional market nuances, developing effective global recruitment plans.
- Utilize diverse and innovative sourcing channels and strategies, including international job boards, professional networks, and targeted platforms, to attract high-caliber candidates from a global talent pool.
- Ensure a positive, culturally sensitive, and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, adapting communication styles and expectations to various cultural contexts.
- Develop and maintain robust talent pipelines for key roles and future international expansion needs.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill across regions, source effectiveness in different markets) and report on progress to senior management, identifying areas for continuous improvement in global hiring strategies.
- Oversee the effective use and optimization of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to support efficient global recruitment operations.
- Contribute significantly to enhancing Shipsy's global employer brand, showcasing our inclusive culture and growth opportunities to attract diverse talent internationally.
- Ensure full compliance with international labor laws, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and local employment regulations across all hiring activities, potentially leveraging Employer of Record (EOR) services where necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role with an overall 8 - 10 years of experience, demonstrating a strong track record in global or multi-country recruitment, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Ideal candidate should have a mix of experience across established companies and startups, with specific experience in scaling recruitment internationally.
- Thorough understanding of international recruitment principles, best practices, and legal frameworks, including knowledge of diverse talent markets and cultural differences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement culturally sensitive recruitment strategies and manage diverse candidate pools effectively.
- Strong business acumen partnered with exceptional attention to the human element and candidate experience in a global context.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to leverage insights for optimizing global talent acquisition strategies.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-regional hiring initiatives and potentially guide a team of international recruiters.
