Job summary

303A Micron Semiconductor Technology India is seeking an experienced Shift Operation Technician to support DIW, WWTP, STP, and ZLD systems in a semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will ensure reliable plant operation, monitor water quality, and uphold environmental compliance.

The role requires 6–10 years of hands-on water treatment experience, mechanical ITI/diploma, and strong knowledge of RO/EDI/UF-NF, chemical dosing, and P&ID reading.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma/ Technical Certification in Mechanical required.
• 6–10 years hands-on experience in industrial water treatment facilities.
• Experience with DIW, WWTP, STP, and ZLD operations.
• Knowledge of RO, EDI, Softener, UF/NF and chemical dosing.
• Ability to read P&IDs and equipment manuals; troubleshoot utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor DI Water, WWTP, STP, and ZLD systems for reliable operation and compliance.
• Perform inspections, process monitoring, sampling, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Manage chemical dosing systems and chemical inventory, ensuring safe handling practices.
• Monitor pumps, valves, RO systems, EDI, evaporators, and instrumentation; optimize processes.
• Maintain records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering/maintenance teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Proficiency with Gen AI Tools, Copilot, and related tech aids in operations.

Position: Shift Operation Technician - DIW-WW-ZLD Operations

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Operator to support the operation, maintenance, and compliance of Deionized Water (DIW), Wastewater Treatment (WWTP), Sewage Treatment (STP), and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems within a manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for ensuring reliable plant operation, maintaining water quality standards, achieving environmental compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor DI Water, WWTP, STP, and ZLD systems to ensure uninterrupted operation and regulatory compliance.
• Perform routine inspections, process monitoring, sampling, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Manage chemical dosing systems, chemical inventory, and safe handling practices.
• Monitor equipment performance including pumps, valves, RO systems, EDI, evaporators, ATFD/crystallizers, instrumentation, and process control systems.
• Maintain operational records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve system reliability, efficiency, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Person should have proficiency in using Gen AI Tools, Copilot, Copilot library & Agent bots.

Required Qualifications:

• ITI, Diploma, Technical Certification, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical.
• 6 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in industrial water treatment facilities.
• Proven exposure to: Deionized Water (DIW) Plant Operations Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Operations Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Operations Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Plant Operations
• Strong understanding of RO, EDI, Softener, UF/NF, Chemical Dosing, Wastewater Treatment Processes, and Environmental Compliance Requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot utility systems and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or other large industrial facilities with critical utility operations.
