Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to shape and support our global Microsoft 365 environment. You will manage SharePoint Online/Server, site collections, document libraries, and governance, ensuring a secure and efficient collaboration platform across the organization.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Workplace Services, Security, and Cloud teams, applying PowerShell, SQL Server, and Power BI to monitor usage, optimize performance, and implement backup,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in SharePoint Administration and Microsoft 365.
• Strong experience with SharePoint Online/Server, document libraries, workflows, and user access management.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, PowerShell, SQL Server, and Power BI.
• Experience troubleshooting SharePoint issues and analyzing logs.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, migration, security, and compliance in SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint platforms, including site collections, applications, and document libraries.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and governance policies across SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Perform platform administration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SharePoint, intranet, and related collaboration tools.
• Support end users through training, guidance, and technical assistance while ensuring an optimal user experience.
• Execute backup, recovery, archiving, and data retention processes to prevent data loss and maintain compliance.
• Monitor SharePoint usage, storage, and performance metrics and implement improvements where required.
• Maintain security controls, encryption standards, access management, and integration with enterprise infrastructure.

Your Role

Your Profile

• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Office 365, PowerShell scripting, SQL Server, and Power BI.
• Experience in troubleshooting SharePoint issues, analyzing ULS logs, managing workflows, and resolving platform-related incidents.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, migration, security, and compliance processes within SharePoint environments.
