Job summary

Photon is seeking an experienced SFCC Lead to design, develop, and lead Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud solutions in Chennai, India. The role requires hands-on SFCC/SFRA expertise, ISML-based storefronts, and strong integration skills with OMS/ERP/CRM.

You will guide a development team, oversee API integrations (OCAPI/SCAPI/REST/SOAP), and drive best practices, CI/CD, and agile delivery while ensuring performance and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SFCC B2C Commerce experience required.
• Experience with OCAPI/SCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with SI/Integrations across OMS/ERP/CRM.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows and checkout.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of SFCC solutions.
• Develop storefronts using SFRA, ISML, Controllers, Models, Forms, and Cartridges.
• Design integrations with OMS, ERP, CRM, payment gateways, PIM and other systems.
• Work with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Handle Business Manager configuration, jobs, hooks, and site administration.
• Drive performance optimization, security, scalability, and code quality.
• Conduct code reviews and technical design reviews, enforce SFCC best practices.
• Mentor developers and coordinate with architects, QA, BA, and stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD, Git, deployments, release management, and Agile delivery.

We are looking for an experienced SFCC Lead to design, develop, and lead Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud solutions. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SFCC/SFRA, custom cartridges, integrations, APIs, and eCommerce development, along with the ability to guide a development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions.
• Develop and customize storefronts using SFRA, ISML, Controllers, Models, Forms, and Cartridges.
• Design and implement integrations with OMS, ERP, CRM, payment gateways, PIM, and other third-party systems.
• Work with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Handle Business Manager configuration, jobs, hooks, and site administration.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, security, and code quality.
• Conduct code reviews, technical design reviews, and enforce SFCC best practices.
• Lead technical discussions and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and production issues.
• Guide and mentor developers and coordinate with architects, QA, BA, and business stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD, Git, deployments, release management, and Agile delivery.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFCC / B2C Commerce.
• OCAPI / SCAPI / REST APIs.
• Business Manager, Controllers, Models, Forms, Hooks, Jobs.
• Third-party integrations, preferably OMS/ERP/CRM/Payment.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows, checkout, catalog, promotions, payments, and order management.
• Experience in technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Git and CI/CD experience.

Good to Have

• Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification.
• Headless Commerce / PWA Kit experience.
• React or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Multi-site / multi-brand / localization experience.
