Services Software Architect (ENOVIA-Upgrade)

In Dassault Systemes Global Services, we are looking for a strongly motivated Services Software Consultant who will contribute to the organization via their technical, functional, and consulting skills. There are many applications available as part of the 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA platform, previously called Centrals. Each application represents a set of features which are needed in one or more industries. These apps provide a huge set of features and functions to satisfy customer requirements and help build customer processes. We are seeking a resource having experience in configurations, customizations, upgrades, new development, and integrations primarily related to apps in 3DSpace & 3DDashboard. Ability to understand and analyze requirements, develop functional/technical specifications, and proficiency in customer interfacing/communication are essential.

This position is based in our offices located in Pune, India.

Responsibilities

1. Understand customer business requirements, scenarios, use cases, and user experience needs.
2. Understand the specification dossier as reported by the global solution architect and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
3. Evaluate/estimate (man/days), manage activities to ensure delivery deadlines, and report to the global solution architect.
4. Understand the software system design, describe the specifications in technical terms, select the algorithms, theories, or technologies that will be used, plan the appropriate user interface, and identify and manage dependencies with other components.
5. Support/contribute to development activities, including investigation, design, coding, unit & functional testing.
6. In case of upgrades, understand and execute the steps to upgrade the ENOVIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE platform to the targeted release, including identifying the Schema/Web files to be upgraded and the Data migration scripts to be executed.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
2. Experience required: 8-12 years.
3. Experience in working on ENOVIA V6 or 3DEXPERIENCE implementation, integration, upgrade projects.
4. Experience in technical/functional 3DEXPERIENCE project definition/execution.
5. Experience in technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, and deployment.
6. Strong knowledge of 3DS products and technologies.
7. Hands-on development experience in Core Java, J2EE, JPOs, and REST-based web services.
8. Good knowledge of MQL, TCL.
9. In case of upgrade, experience in identifying, planning, and executing upgrades to the system, including schema & files (customizations) to the targeted version.
10. Good to have knowledge/experience in:

• Knowledge of JS frameworks (like Angular/React/Vue JS) and REST web services backend will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of building on-demand/real-time/messaging queue-based integrations & batch processes.
