Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a proactive Project Manager in Mumbai to lead key client projects from definition to delivery. You will work with stakeholders to ensure feasibility, create detailed plans, monitor progress and control scope, schedule, and costs while maintaining thorough documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Collaboration and meeting tight deadlines are essential in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or higher level, or foreign equivalent.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in tech, insurance or related environment.
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ensures all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Reports and escalates to management as needed
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
• Develops comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
• Develops spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
• Performs other related duties and activities as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or higher level, or foreign equivalent
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a technology, insurance, or otherwise related environment
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Skilled in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.
