Job summary

EY seeks a skilled ServiceNow Platform Engineer to support design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. You will administer ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, SPM, Employee Center, and custom apps across development, test, and production environments.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, ITIL knowledge, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust platform solutions. Bengaluru-based role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform across development, test, and production environments.
• Configure and support platform modules including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, SPM, Employee Center, custom applications and domain separation.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, availability, and security.
• Monitor system health and proactively resolve platform issues.
• Design and develop workflows, Flow Designer solutions, catalog items, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and UI actions.
• Develop and maintain Script Includes, REST/SOAP integrations, and custom applications where required.
• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow AI solutions.
• Implement ServiceNow best practices while minimizing customization.
• Support deployment activities using Update Sets and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, Integration Hub, MID Servers, and Import Sets.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize data synchronization processes.
• Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to support system integrations.
• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), ACLs, and security best practices.
• Support platform governance processes, architecture reviews, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow and organizational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, user experience, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate new ServiceNow features and recommend adoption strategies.
• Participate in platform upgrade planning, testing, and remediation activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Engineering & Administration
