Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Developer to deploy, optimize, and maintain Discovery solutions across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments in Gurgaon. You will troubleshoot discovery issues, configure MID Servers, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure accurate CI data.

You will design service maps, strengthen CMDB health, and drive governance around licensing, audits, and data quality. Experience with CrowdStrike, Infoblox, and AD/Microsoft ecosystems is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, including agent-based and agent-less implementations.
• Deep understanding of CMDB management, CMDB Health Dashboards, reconciliation processes, and data quality best practices.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Mapping and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting MID Servers, SSH, SNMP, network connectivity, and discovery patterns.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise tools such as CrowdStrike, Infoblox, Active Directory, Microsoft, Adobe, and virtualization platforms.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with software asset management, licensing compliance requirements, audit controls, and license usage reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to lead technical remediation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and optimize ServiceNow Discovery solutions across on- premises, cloud, and hybrid environments using both agent-based and agent-less approaches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve discovery issues related to network connectivity, agent availability, firewall restrictions, and access challenges.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to establish and maintain SSH/SNMP access, MID Server configurations, and discovery schedules.
• Implement, maintain, and improve CMDB health, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance through reconciliation and data cleanup activities.
• Design and maintain service maps and service models to support service-aware operations and improve incident and problem resolution.
• Integrate ServiceNow Discovery with third-party platforms to enrich Configuration Item (CI) data.
• Drive governance initiatives by aligning discovery and CMDB processes with licensing compliance, audit requirements, and organizational standards.
• Lead remediation efforts for discovery gaps, stale CMDB data, agent deployment challenges, and cross-functional data alignment issues.
