Job summary

Arm Bengaluru is seeking a forward-thinking Service Reliability Advisor - Network Infrastructure to enhance our enterprise network stability, performance, and observability. This role operates within a 24/7 shift-based team and blends traditional NOC duties with AI Ops practices.

You will monitor LAN/WAN, data centres, cloud networks, and SD-WAN using AI Ops platforms, detect anomalies, and drive RCAs with AI insights while contributing to automation and incident playbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Network Engineering.
• 2–4 years of networking experience.
• Hands-on with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN.
• Experience with telemetry/observability tools.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or Network+.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of ITIL and SRE principles.
• Experience integrating AI Ops with ITSM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure using AI Ops platforms (LAN/WAN/VPN/SD-WAN, data centres, cloud).
• Use AI Ops tools to detect anomalies, correlate events, reduce alert fatigue.
• Maintain automation for maintenance and upgrades of network infra.
• Support RCA with AI insights and contribute to postmortems.
• Maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs (latency, availability, MTTR).
• Tune AI/ML models and integrate new data sources for detection accuracy.
• Participate in change reviews to assess risk to reliability.
• Contribute to automation and incident response playbooks.

Job Overview

We are looking for a forward-thinking Service Reliability Advisor - Network Infrastructure to enhance our enterprise network systems' stability, performance, and observability. This role combines traditional NOC responsibilities with modern AI Ops practices and operates within a 24/7 shift-based team. The ideal candidate will proactively detect and resolve network anomalies, utilise AI/ML insights to optimise operations, and support continuous service availability and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure using AI Ops platforms, including LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, data centres, and cloud networks.
• Leverage AI Ops tools (e.g. Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, etc.) to detect anomalies, correlate events, and reduce alert fatigue.
• Implement via automation maintenance and routine upgrade of enterprise grade network infrastructure
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) using AI-generated insights and contribute to incident postmortems.
• Maintain dashboards, reports, and documentation for operational visibility and performance KPIs (latency, availability, MTTR, etc.).
• Continuously tune AI/ML models and integrate new data sources to improve detection accuracy and incident correlation.
• Participate in change management reviews to assess risk to network service reliability.
• Support automation initiatives and contribute to developing intelligent incident response playbooks.
• Work on a shift pattern, on a 24/7/365 operating model, while being able to work independently and flexibly in response to emergencies or critical issues

Required Skills And Experience

• 2 to 4 years experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, SDWAN).
• Practical knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM.
• Experience with telemetry and observability tools such as LogicMonitor.
• Basic analytical skills with a data-driven approach to identifying and resolving network issues.
• Willingness to learn new skills and technologies as the SRC increases its scope of responsibility.
• Effective communicator within a team with a proactive approach and personal accountability for outcomes.
• Ability to analyze incident patterns and metrics to proactively recommend reliability improvements.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• In addition, the Cisco DevNet Certification would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with ITIL and SRE principles (SLI/SLOs, error budgets, incident command).
• Experience integrating AI Ops tools with ITSM systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
• Exposure to automation/orchestration tools (Ansible and Terraform).

Nice To Have Skills And Experience

• Exposure to high performance computing or cloud-native services.
• Experience creating or updating Ansible playbooks for repetitive tasks or configuration.
• Curiosity about automation and DevOps practices.
