Job summary

Exponent, expanding across multiple cities in India, is seeking a dedicated professional for After Sales to manage field operations, installation planning, maintenance, and stakeholder coordination for the EV charging stack (e^pack and e^pump).

You will collaborate with DISCOMs, landlords, and Charge Point Operators to ensure reliable power, safe operation, and timely reimbursements, while upholding safety and quality standards. 2–5 years in EV charging or telecom field ops is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in service operations in EV charging or cell-tower industries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with central team to ensure SOPs and best practices are followed across stakeholders.
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshoot field issues, and plan e^pump installations.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and parts replacement for e^pump/e^pack.
• Support billing and reimbursements with various stakeholders while ensuring accuracy.
• Serve as the single point of contact for local operations teams.

This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to expand our presence in multiple cities across the country, together unlocking 15-minute rapid charging thru our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Network Support / SOPs:
• Collaborate with the central team to ensure that SOPs and best practices are consistently followed across all stakeholders.
• Managing field operations, offering technical support, and troubleshooting on-site issues.
• Planning of e^pump Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair/replacement of parts/equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and uptime management.

EV Power Liaison:

• Collaborate with local Distribution Companies (DISCOMs) to secure reliable EV Power supply for charging stations.
• Identify and engage contractors capable of obtaining EV Power within the designated territory
• Understand the rules and regulations of each territory & DISCOM and make sure that the power is landed as per the expected costs

• Stakeholder Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with landlords, Charge Point Operators, business owners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with local operations teams.
• Billing and Reimbursement:
• Oversee the generation, timely payment, and reimbursement of electricity bills with various stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate billing and adherence to financial agreements.
• Single Point of Contact:
• Serve as the central point of contact for local operations teams, addressing their queries and providing necessary support.

About the Candidate:

• The ideal candidate should demonstrate a high sense of ownership and agility in their work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience of 2 to 5 years in managing service operations within industries associated with EV Charging stations or Cell towers
