Exponent Energy is seeking a field-focused operations professional in India to support its EV charging initiatives. You will manage on-site field operations, ensure safety, and troubleshoot technical issues across multiple cities.

The role emphasizes strong communication with landlords, CP Operators, and internal teams, with a focus on reliable uptime and rapid issue resolution in a dynamic energy network.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of service operations experience in EV charging or cell towers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrates ownership, agility and quick problem solving on field operations.
• Willingness to be on-field and travel within designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Network Support / SOPs: manage field operations, provide on-site technical support, and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and uptime management.
• EV Power Liaison: coordinate with DISCOMs and their representatives for charging station issues.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: build relationships with landlords and Charge Point Operators to ensure smooth operations.
• Single Point of Contact: act as the central contact in the territory for local operations teams.

This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to expand our presence in multiple cities across the country, together unlocking 15-minute rapid charging thru our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Network Support / SOPs:
  • Managing field operations, offering technical support, and troubleshooting on-site issues in your designated territory.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and uptime management.

EV Power Liaison

• Coordinate with local Distribution Companies (DISCOMs) and their representative in case of issues with EV Power supply for charging stations

Stakeholder Relationship Management

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with landlords, Charge Point Operators, business owners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with local operations teams.

Single Point of Contact

• Serve as the central point of contact in your territory for your local operations teams, addressing their queries and providing necessary support.

About the Candidate

• The ideal candidate should demonstrate a high sense of ownership and agility in their work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience of 2 to 4 years in managing service operations within industries associated with EV Charging stations or Cell towers
