Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Site Engineer E&I to manage the operation and maintenance of filter presses and slurry pumps at mining locations in India. The ideal candidate will lead a team, ensure safety, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with clients. Required qualifications include a diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation and 3–8 years of experience in filter press operations, preferably in iron ore processing.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in filter press O&M (iron ore process preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift team for production and maintenance.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists, and reports.
• Coordinate with customers shift in-charge for daily certification.
• Manage manpower, safety, toolbox talks, and work permits.
• Guide team on electrical, instrumentation, PLC logic, and troubleshooting.
• Support preventive maintenance and planned shutdowns.

• Location: Anywhere in India (customer sites, mainly iron ore plants)

Job Description

Handle operation & maintenance of filter presses (FFP) and slurry pumps during shifts. We want someone who can run and maintain filter presses at mining sites, manage a small team, ensure safety, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with customers.

Responsibilities
