Job summary

Sone India is seeking a field service professional to install and demo complex lab equipment and to handle service, calibration, and lab shifting calls across regions.

The role requires strong Hindi and regional language communication, travel readiness, and knowledge of lab instrumentation. You will coordinate with customers, HO, and managers to ensure timely installation and service revenue generation.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel intensively across regions.
• Strong communication skills in Hindi and regional languages.
• Knowledge of processes like temperature, pH, humidity, pressure, vacuum, gases, humidity, clean room calibration, and basic lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment on-site and demonstrate installed products, outlining maintenance pros/cons.
• Attend service, calibration, and lab shifting calls; escalate unresolved issues to HO or reporting manager.
• Follow up with HO/customers for PO/invoice/payment and update Zonal Manager.
• Promote filters, spares, and new equipment as per customer requirements.
• Send faulty spares to HO with FIR and maintain stock lists with HO/Zonal Manager.
• Coordinate with customers regarding equipment issues and lab readiness for installation.
• Interact with customers about service queries and spare requirements; report job completion to HO daily.
• Generate revenue via AMC, service calls, calibration, and spare sales.

Job description

• Perform INSTALLATION of all Equipment.
• Provide demo for the installed product and inform about pros and cons for maintenance of it.
• Attend BRAKDOWN/SERVICE/CALIBRATION/LAB SHIFTING calls
• Escalate service complaints/ repair issues to reporting manager/HO if the issue is not resolved at site
• Follow up with HO/Customers for PO/Invoice/Payment on regular basis & update Zonal Manager
• Promote FILTERS/ other spares / new equipment as per the customers requirement in LAB
• Send faulty spare to HO with respective FIR
• Maintain stock in hand list regularly and get verified with HO/Zonal Manager regularly
• Maintain proper schedule to get analyzers calibrated as per recommended intervals
• Update yourself with complete knowledge of all the products
• Coordinate with customers regarding issues with equipment or LAB readiness for installation
• Interacting with customers on a regular basis related to service queries and requirement of spares, service support etc
• Send the reports of job done to HO and reporting manager on daily basis
• Generating revenue by way of AMC, Service calls, calibration and spare sales

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Candidates should be ready for intense traveling
• Good communication skills Hindi and the regional languages
• Candidate should have knowledge about:- temperature, Ph, humidity, pressure, Vacuum, gases (CO2, O2), humidity, clean room calib (dop, voc, particle count, etc), electrical, pipette calib...etc.
• Knowledge about biology microscope, HVAC, autoclaves will be an added advantage
