in Port Blair seeks a skilled technician to diagnose faults in alternators, starters, and charging systems, and perform repairs to power systems. The role involves disassembly, inspection, rewinding of components such as rotors, stators, diodes, brushes and regulators, handling both HT and LT alternators from 7.5 KVA to 2000 KVA, and conducting load testing and performance verification to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in alternator repair/servicing.
• Strong knowledge of insulation processes, load testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in alternators, starters, and charging systems.
