Job summary

Xylem is seeking an experienced engineer to manage erection and commissioning of HVAC, Fire, and Plumbing pump systems. You will troubleshoot field equipment, perform energy audits, and contribute to FMEA activities to improve reliability.

The role requires 6–10 years of field experience in mechanical/electrical environments, with strong communication skills to liaise with engineering teams and value centers. This is a field-based position in Maharashtra/Thane region.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6–10 years of field experience.
• Experience handling HVAC and piping pumps, pressure boosters, and fire pump systems independently.
• Strong communication with our engineering teams and value centers.
• Ability to identify root cause analysis technically.
• Stamina and adaptability to sustain field activity for prolonged periods.
• Basic knowledge of pump hydraulics, plant operation, and VFDs/controllers for HVAC & Plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Lead erection and commissioning activities for HVAC/FIRE/Plumbing pumps.
• Troubleshoot field equipment and systems.
• Carry out energy audit related tasks.
• Apply FMEA to equipment and processes.

Part 2. Education Qualification
