Job summary

PT Ecological Services Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Service Engineer in Navi Mumbai to install, calibrate, commission, and maintain CEMS/OCEMS, AQMS and water quality systems. You will ensure uptime, regulatory compliance and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2–4 years in service engineering, BE Electronics or Mechanical, and hands-on experience with analyzers and PLC/SCADA/IoT integration. On-site work in polluted environments is expected.

Qualifications

• BE in Electronics or Mechanical is required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, calibration, commissioning, and maintenance of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS/OCEMS), Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS), and Water Quality Monitoring Systems. The role ensures uptime, compliance with CPCB/SPCB norms, and customer satisfaction through timely service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning
  • Install, configure, and commission pollution monitoring systems (SO, NOx, CO, CO, PM2.5, PM10, Flow, pH, COD, etc.).
  • Integrate analyzers with DAHS/PLC/SCADA systems.
• Calibration & Maintenance
  • Perform routine calibration (zero/span checks, QAL2/QAL3, drift checks).
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for NDIR, Beta-ray, Chemiluminescence, TOC, and water quality analyzers.
• Troubleshooting & Support
  • Diagnose technical faults and restore systems within minimal downtime.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to customers.
• Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain logbooks, calibration certificates, service reports, and AMC documentation.
  • Ensure systems meet CPCB/SPCB/USEPA/EN norms during audits and inspections.
• Customer Engagement
  • Train operators and plant staff on system operation & basic troubleshooting.
  • Support AMC/CMC contracts and build strong client relationships.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of environmental monitoring principles (CEMS, AQMS,).
• Hands-on experience with analyzers: NDIR, Beta-ray attenuation, Chemiluminescence, DO, BOD, COD, pH, turbidity sensors.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards: CPCB guidelines, EN 14181, ISO 17025, USEPA certifications.
• Proficiency in PLC/SCADA/IoT systems and data handling (RS232, Modbus, TCP/IP).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience - 2 to 4 years in service engineer.
