Job summary

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day service-related jobs in the specified territory and resolve issues
• Provide full and professional tools service at customer premises when required
• Diagnose performance issues in Atlas Copco power tools and take corrective actions
• Install and commission tools as needed
• Source spare parts and consumables for repairs
• Calibrate, test, and certify power tool products per procedures
• Undertake preventive maintenance on power tool products
• Generate technical service reports on-site
• Pre-delivery testing and site installation as applicable
• Engage in ad-hoc projects and be flexible with work hours
• Possess PLC hands-on experience as an added advantage
• Generate leads for service sales and drive business development at assigned customers
• Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with all levels of the customer hierarchy

Job Purpose

To ensure customer satisfaction by providing professional engineering and support service inline to organizational commitment and maximize the value and profitability of our service business with sustainability

Key Responsibilities

• 1. To carry out the day-to-day function of the service related jobs and resolve the issues in the specified territory/customer allocated in the region
• 2. To provide full and professional tools service at customer’s premises where necessary
• 3. To diagnose problematic and inefficient performance of all Atlas Copco power tools products and take appropriate action to rectify performance
• 4. To carry out the Installation & commissioning of tools whenever required
• 5. To identify and source spare parts and consumables required for the repair of tools
• 6. To carry out calibration, testing and certification of all Atlas Copco power tool products, according to standard procedures
• 7. To determine and undertake all necessary preventative maintenance on all power tool products
• 8. To generate technical reports on service provided at site
• 9. To carry out pre delivery testing and inspection of tools as appropriate prior to delivery / site installation
• 10. To undertake ad-hoc projects as required.
• 11. To incorporate Flexible attitude to working out of normal as and when required.
• 12. Hands on PLC experience is an added advantage
• 13. To generate leads for service sales revenue and to take ownership of complete business development at allocated customers
• 14. Ensure customer satisfaction by closely working with all the levels of customer thus by ensuring the end goals are met.

Experience requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

Essential

• Good engineering skills, with at least 4-6 years’ experience in an Engineering environment
• High degree of flexibility.
• Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with both customers and colleagues
• Self motivated
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Educational requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering
• PC Literacy
• Fair English Language proficiency is essential
• Local Language Knowledge will be preferred
