Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Engineer in Bengaluru to install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot vacuum pumps and systems at customer sites. The role requires strong technical acumen, customer interaction, and coordination with internal teams for timely service delivery.

The candidate should have an engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical) and at least 2 years of field service experience, preferably with rotating equipment, and must communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Proficient in English; good communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in field service, preferably in rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of vacuum systems.
• Conducting routine and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Preparing service reports and documentation.
• Providing technical support and training to customers.
• Coordinating with factory and sales teams for spares and escalation support.
