Role & Responsibilities
Overall 4 to 6 years of experience as Windows / Linux administrator.
Experience in AWS or Azure for at least 2 years.
Experience in working on production environments which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3.
A solid background in Windows server system administration.
Experience installing and configuring different application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, nginx, etc.
Experience in monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.
Preferred - An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
Preferred - Knowledge of one or more of the most-used programming languages available in today's cloud computing (i.e., SQL data, XML data, R, Clojure, Haskell, Erlang, Python, and Go).
Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems.
Proficiency in script development and scripting languages.
Preferred - more than one cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google).
Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, Perl, Python, and similar languages.
Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Xen, VMware.
Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
Preferred - Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef.
Preferred - Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.
Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Firewalld, Squid, etc.
The ability and skill to train other people in procedural and technical topics.
Preferably Immediate to short Joiners.
