Job summary

A technology solutions company in Raipur, India is seeking a skilled Data Center Manager. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing Windows/Linux servers, configuring web and database servers, and knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS and Azure. Responsibilities include overseeing data center operations, automating processes through scripting, and managing team activities. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is preferred, along with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Expertise in managing Data center with Windows/Linux Servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on Web Server and Database servers in Linux Environment.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows AD domain, computer networking and scripting.
• Experience with Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud.
• Certifications on RHEL & Cloud technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for assisting on data center management activities

Administration of Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu Server

Web & Application Server configuration and Deployment of various application like Angular, PHP, Java etc.

Installation, Configuration & Maintenance of Database Server like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle etc.

Log Analysis and fixing issue and preventing plan

Writing script to automate the manual activities

Troubleshooting the application issue with development team

Managing team for daily monitoring & Reporting actvities

Preparing the Operation Manual for new project

Daily reporting of project status

Candidate Profile

Should have good expertise on managing Data center with Windows/Linux Servers(RHEL,CentOS,Ubuntu).

Should have good configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on Web Server, Application Server and Database servers in Linux Environment [Apache,Tomcat, JBoss, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL etc.]

Should have knowledge of Linux/Windows AD domain, computer networking and scripting

Should have worked on any Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud

Should have basic knowledge on DevOps tools & Technologies.

Should have good written and verbal communication skill to communicate with Project managers.

Should be ready to adopt new technologies as per requirement.

Should be ready to travel to different location as per project requirement.

Should have ability to manage teams with task planning and review of Daily system monitoring of Infra

Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures. Performing regular updates and upgrades as and when necessary.

Having certfication on RHEL & Cloud technologies preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
