CACTUS Communications Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced SEO Manager for its Editage team to drive global organic visibility across markets including the USA, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the EU. This remote-first role focuses on SEO, AEO, and GEO across search engines and AI platforms.

You will lead technical SEO, content strategy, international targeting, and AI-driven optimization, collaborating with Content, Product, Engineering, PR, and regional marketing to deliver measurable growth.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of proven SEO experience, preferably with international/multilingual sites.
• Hands-on expertise across technical SEO, content strategy, and international SEO.
• Experience with AEO/GEO and AI-driven visibility on multiple platforms.
• Strong knowledge of structured data, entities, and data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like GA, GSC, Semrush or Ahrefs.

• Own and execute an integrated SEO, AEO, and GEO strategy across markets.
• Lead technical SEO efforts including performance, crawlability, indexing, hreflang, and structured data.
• Drive keyword and content strategy informed by search intent and AI opportunities.

Overview

CACTUS is looking for an SEO Manager to join our Editage team to drive global organic visibility across markets including the USA, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the EU. As search evolves beyond traditional Google results, this role will focus on SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) across search engines and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude, and Perplexity.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute an integrated SEO, AEO, and GEO strategy across international markets, with a strong focus on organic growth and AI visibility.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives across site performance, mobile optimization, crawlability, indexation, international targeting, hreflang, and structured data.
• Drive keyword, topic, and search-intent research and translate insights into high-impact content strategies that improve rankings, visibility, and conversions.
• Optimize content for AI Overviews, featured snippets, People Also Ask, knowledge panels, voice search, and other emerging search experiences.
• Improve how frequently and accurately our brands are mentioned, cited, and recommended across generative AI platforms.
• Benchmark AI visibility against competitors by tracking prompts, brand mentions, citations, sentiment, and share of voice across markets and languages.
• Strengthen E-E-A-T and entity authority through expert-led content, credible citations, original data, and a strong presence across relevant third-party platforms.
• Build and manage link-building, digital PR, and online reputation initiatives to strengthen brand authority and organic performance.
• Monitor organic traffic, rankings, conversions, AI referral traffic, and AI citation share, turning data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Stay ahead of search engine and AI platform updates, experiment with new approaches, and build scalable SEO playbooks based on what works.
• Collaborate closely with Content, Product, Engineering, PR, and Regional Marketing teams to translate search opportunities into business impact.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

• 5-7 years of proven SEO experience, preferably working with international and multilingual websites.
• Strong hands-on expertise across technical SEO, content strategy, international SEO, and search intent.
• Practical experience with AEO and GEO, including AI Overviews, featured snippets, and visibility across generative AI platforms.
• Good understanding of how search engines and AI systems discover, evaluate, select, and cite information, along with strong knowledge of structured data and entity optimization.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO platforms.
• Familiarity with AI visibility tracking tools and using generative AI to support research, content, and analysis workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, experimentation mindset, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global stakeholders.
