Job summary

Sukoon is leading India's behavioral health platform, delivering structured mental health care across hospitals, workplaces, and campuses. We seek an energetic SEO content writer who can own the content strategy, research keywords for mental health in India, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure accuracy and impact.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in SEO/content, a psychology-related background, and experience with SEMrush/Ahrefs/Moz.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in SEO and content, with mental health writing preferred.
• Degree or coursework in Psychology, Counselling, or related mental health discipline preferred; portfolio considered if not.
• Demonstrated ability to produce long-form content that ranks.
• Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO strategy and execution across Sukoon Health's web properties.
• Conduct keyword research focused on how people search for mental health support in India.
• Write, optimise and approve long-form content submitted by the agency.
• Work with the clinical team and the content strategist to ensure accuracy and clinical integrity in every piece.
• Fact check all articles and content deeply.
• Work with the agency to build and manage a content calendar aligned to search intent and brand priorities.
• Be on top of performance and analytics and iterate meaningfully.

Sukoon is India's leading behavioral health platform, operating specialized mental health services across sectors. We are building a system of care that is structured, scalable, and measurable, with a focus on early intervention, team-based care, and clinical outcomes.

Through Sukoon Hospitals, we deliver evidence-based inpatient and outpatient care across major cities. We have 5 facilities across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. We're on track to build 40 such facilities with 1200+ beds.

Through Sukoon Workplace, we partner with organizations to bring structured mental health care to employees and their families, combining individual therapy, proactive detection, and systemwide insights. We have 30K employees in care and the ambition to scale this to 500K individuals.

Through Sukoon On Campus, we run full-stack mental health programs inside India's top universities, integrating education, detection, and treatment directly into the student journey. We have 15K students under our care and have our sights set at 500K students across India by 2032.

What you'll do

• Own SEO strategy and execution across Sukoon Health's web properties - including the hospital chain + other verticals in the future
• Conduct keyword research with a sharp focus on how people actually search for mental health support in India
• Write, optimise and approve long-form content submitted by the agency
• Work closely with the clinical team and the content strategist to ensure accuracy and clinical integrity in every piece
• Fact check all articles and content deeply
• Work with the agency to build and manage a content calendar aligned to search intent and brand priorities
• Be on top of performance and analytics and iterate meaningfully

What you're great at

• Doing deep research and writing with both clarity and sensitivity on topics like depression, anxiety, addiction, schizophrenia, and acute psychiatric care
• Translating clinical language into content that a patient, parent, or any lay person can actually understand
• Balancing SEO mechanics with genuine editorial quality
• Thinking in user journeys, not just keywords
• Knowing when a piece needs a clinician's eye before it goes live

What you've done before

• 2-3 years in SEO and content, with a strong preference for candidates who have written on mental health
• A degree or coursework in Psychology, Counselling, or a related mental health discipline is strongly preferred; candidates without it will be considered if their writing portfolio is exceptional
• Demonstrated ability to produce long-form content that ranks
• Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
