Job summary

Aiden AI is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud networks across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will build VPCs, subnets, and routing, and drive connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include implementing network security controls, automating with Terraform/Ansible, and collaborating with DevOps and Security teams to ensure reliability, compliance, and optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years in Network Engineering with at least 3 years in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, routing/switching.
• Experience with Cloud Networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud Load Balancing, Private Service Connect).
• IaC: Manage network infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Security: Knowledge of cloud security, Zero Trust, IAM roles for networking, encryption in transit.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.
• Agile/DevOps: Experience with CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
• Certifications: Cloud Networking certifications (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, Google Network Engineer, or CCNA/CCNP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure virtual networks, VPCs, subnets, and routing in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Oversee connectivity solutions including VPNs, Direct Connect/Interconnect, and Load Balancing for hybrid connectivity.
• Implement and maintain network security controls (WAF, NGFW, NACLs, Security Groups, IDS/IPS).
• Use IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) to automate provisioning and config management.
• Troubleshoot latency, connectivity, and performance issues across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Cloud Architecture teams to align network strategy with requirements and compliance.

Optimization & Automation: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate network provisioning and configuration management. Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network latency, connectivity, and performance issues across hybrid environments. Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, Security, and Cloud Architecture teams to align network strategies with application requirements and compliance standards. Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, and routing/switching. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven ability to manage network infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools. Security: Solid grasp of network security best practices in the cloud (Zero Trust architecture, IAM roles for networking, encryption in transit).Tools & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) for network automation and troubleshooting. Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git/GitHub). Certifications: Relevant Cloud Networking certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or CCNA/CCNP)
