Job summary

ServiceTitan's G&A Systems & Integrations team seeks a Senior Workday Integration Engineer to own the design and delivery of Workday Studio, Orchestrate, Extend solutions. You will support People Tech & HCM workflows as well as Finance processes across P2P, GL, Tax, and Treasury, partnering with Finance and US-based teams daily from Bengaluru.

You will advise on when to use Studio, Orchestrate, Extend, or external automation, while maintaining design standards and reusable components.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise integration engineering with a clear focus on Workday (HCM and/or Financials).
• Hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, EIBs and Core Connectors in production.
• Experience with Workday Orchestrate and Extend, including design/deploy work.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and Financials processes and data model.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations end-to-end.
• Develop multi-step orchestrations with Workday Orchestrate.
• Create Extend apps to close HR/Finance gaps for users.
• Own HCM and Finance integration coverage, payroll and benefits feeds.

ServiceTitan's G&A Systems & Integrations team is looking for a Senior Workday Integration Engineer to join our growing integration and automation practice. This role is our primary builder on Workday-native tooling, owning the design and delivery of solutions in Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, and Workday Extend. You will support People Tech & HCM workflows as well as Finance workflows (Procure-to-Pay, General Ledger, Tax, and Treasury).

We are not looking for an order taker. You will partner with Finance, People Tech, and the US-based BT team to advise on the best way to solve a problem, including when to use Studio, Orchestrate, Extend, or an external automation platform, and why. You'll collaborate daily with US stakeholders and offshore teammates. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who takes ownership end-to-end and wants to keep complex Finance and People operations running reliably.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Workday-Native Integration Development: Design, build, test, and deploy integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors. Own the full lifecycle from requirements through production support.
• Workday Orchestrate: Build and maintain multi-step orchestrations that automate cross-system and in-platform workflows.
• Workday Extend: Design and build custom Extend applications and extensions that close functional gaps and improve the experience for HR, Finance, and employee users.
• HCM Integration Ownership: Own integration coverage for People Tech & HCM, including HR data feeds, Benefits carrier integrations, Payroll connectors, and talent/recruiting platform integrations.
• Finance Integration Coverage: Support integrations across P2P, GL, Tax (e.g., Avalara, Vertex), and Treasury, including bank and reconciliation feeds and intercompany data flows.
• Solution Design & Advisory: Translate business requirements into technical designs, recommend the right tool and pattern for each need, and apply consistent design standards and reusable components.
• Workato Collaboration: Work alongside the automation team on Workato recipes where integrations span non-Workday systems.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Response: Monitor and triage production integrations (including critical payroll and benefits file feeds), resolve failures and data discrepancies independently, and document root cause and preventive actions.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create runbooks, integration specs, and technical documentation so the offshore and US teams can support what you build.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 6+ years of enterprise integration engineering experience with a meaningful focus on Workday (HCM and/or Financials).
• Deep, hands-on expertise with Workday Studio. You have built custom Studio integrations, EIBs, and Core Connectors in production and are strong in XSLT, document transformation, and error handling.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Orchestrate, having built or maintained production orchestrations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, having designed and built or deployed Extend apps (or strong working depth with a clear ramp path).
• Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM (Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll) and the Workday data model, plus solid understanding of Financials processes (P2P, R2R, Banking & Settlement).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth 2.0, SFTP, and PGP encryption patterns common in HCM and Finance integrations.
• Proven ability to evaluate options, recommend an approach, and explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You push back when it's the right call.
• Ability to independently manage projects from scoping through delivery with minimal direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working with HR, Finance, Tax, and Treasury partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Workato (production recipes, error handling and retry logic, reusable connector libraries). This is a plus, not a requirement.
• Workday certification in Integrations, Extend, or Financials/HCM modules.
• Familiarity with tax compliance or automation platforms such as Avalara or Vertex.
• Exposure to MuleSoft or comparable iPaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL, or BI tooling for integration validation and data tracing.
• Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
• Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
