Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant in Bengaluru to lead end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations, configurations, and enhancements for client planning environments.

The role requires gathering business requirements, designing financial, workforce, and operational models, configuring sheets and dimensions, developing reports and dashboards, overseeing data integrations, testing, and mentoring junior consultants to deliver robust planning

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and configurations.
• Strong FP&A knowledge: budgeting, forecasting, financial planning.
• Experience data integration, loading, and reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication.
• Ability to manage projects independently and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting models.
• Design and develop financial, workforce, and operational planning models.
• Configure model sheets, cube sheets, dimensions, versions, assumptions, formulas, and allocations.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and management reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with finance, FP&A, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Manage data integrations, data loads, and reconciliation between Adaptive Planning and other enterprise systems.
• Perform functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize model performance.
• Provide functional expertise, best practices, and guidance to clients and junior consultants.
• Manage project deliverables and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

• Proven experience in Adaptive Planning implementation and configuration.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes.
• Experience with financial modelling, workforce planning, and operational planning.
• Knowledge of model sheets, cube sheets, dimensions, versions, formulas, and reporting.
• Experience with data integration, data loading, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and client‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage project activities independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Adaptive Planning certification is preferred.
• Experience in end‑to‑end implementation projects.
• Exposure to SAP, Oracle, Workday Financial Management, or other ERP systems.
• Experience with integration tools and planning process automation is an added advantage.
