Job summary

Nua in Mumbai is seeking a full-time Visual Artist with 4+ years of experience in advertising or communication design to join our growing team. You will conceptualize and design visual communication across campaigns, digital content, and product visuals.

You will translate brand strategy into creative ideas, apply typography, color theory, and layout to life, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support rapid turns while maintaining high design quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of solid design experience in advertising or a communication design environment.
• Strong design fundamentals and conceptual thinking.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Beginner-level skills in motion graphics, video editing, and illustration.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools is a big plus.

About the Role:

We're looking for a full-time Visual Artist with minimum 4 years of experience in the advertising or communication design industry to join our growing team in Mumbai. If you've worked on FMCG brands - even better. If you've worked in the women's wellness, beauty, or hygiene space - extra brownie points. But we're more focused on your attitude, design thinking, and executional finesse than your resume buzzwords.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conceptualizing and designing visual communication across campaigns, digital, and product content.
• Translating brand strategy into creative ideas and consistent design language.
• Applying strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and photography to bring ideas to life.
• Collaborating closely with different teams to execute high-quality visuals.
• Supporting the team with quick turnarounds while maintaining design quality.
• Dipping into motion graphics, basic video editing, and illustrations as needed.
• Coordinating with freelancers and external collaborators to manage high-volume phases and tight deadlines.

What We're Looking For:

• 4 years of solid design experience in an ad agency, creative studio, or brand team.
• Strong design fundamentals and conceptual thinking.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Beginner-level skills in motion graphics, video editing, and illustration.
• Familiarity or hands-on experience with Generative AI tools (big plus!).
• Someone who's disciplined, responsible, and a great team player.
• Excellent communicator who can take feedback and contribute to creative discussions.
• A learner at heart - someone who wants to grow, experiment, and push boundaries.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working on FMCG brands.
• Prior work in women's wellness, hygiene, or beauty categories.
