• >4-6 years of professional video editing experience.
• >Social media agency experience is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

About The Role We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who can combine strong creative and technical editing skills with team management and creative ownership.

The role involves working across multiple brands and industries, creating high-quality social media content while managing and mentoring junior editors. You will be responsible for maintaining editing quality, turnaround time and consistency across the team.

The ideal candidate is highly experienced in Reels, fast-paced social content, colour grading, motion graphics and trend-driven editing, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Creative

• Edit high-quality Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media content


• Create fast-paced, engaging and trend-driven edits that are native to social platforms


• Work across multiple brands, industries and different visual identities


• Edit content from brand shoots, campaigns, events, product shoots, lifestyle shoots, influencers and creators


• Handle advanced colour correction and colour grading


• Create strong pacing, transitions, sound design, subtitles, text animation and visual effects


• Develop different editing styles based on the brand, audience and campaign objective


• Maintain a strong understanding of current Reels trends, formats, transitions, audio and editing styles


• Ensure all final output meets agency and client quality standards


• Review and improve edits before they are presented to clients

Team Management

• Manage and mentor a team of junior and mid-level video editors


• Allocate editing projects based on workload, skill level and deadlines


• Review team output and provide clear creative and technical feedback


• Establish editing standards, workflows and quality benchmarks for the team


• Train junior editors on editing techniques, trends, software and best practices


• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the expected quality


• Monitor workloads and identify bottlenecks before they impact delivery


• Step in and take ownership of high-priority or complex edits when required


• Build a collaborative and creative team environment

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Content, Social Media, Design, Production and Account Management teams


• Understand briefs and translate creative concepts into compelling videos


• Collaborate with videographers and production teams to improve footage and final output


• Guide the team on what footage, shots and assets are required for better edits


• Participate in creative brainstorming and campaign ideation


• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding timelines, revisions and deliverables

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 4-6 years of professional video editing experience


• Social media agency experience is mandatory


• Proven experience managing or mentoring a team of video editors


• Strong portfolio of Reels and short-form social media content


• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially:




• Adobe Premiere Pro - Mandatory


• Adobe After Effects - Mandatory


• Photoshop / Illustrator - Good to have




• Strong experience in colour correction and colour grading


• Excellent understanding of fast-paced editing and social media storytelling


• Strong knowledge of Instagram/Reels trends and content formats


• Ability to work on multiple brands simultaneously


• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment


• Strong understanding of music selection, sound design, transitions and pacing


• Excellent eye for visual quality, composition and detail

• Strong Motion Graphics / Animation skills

• Experience with DVCs, brand films, campaign films and commercial content


• Experience working with professional camera footage
