• Apply storytelling to create emotionally engaging, brand-aligned content.
• Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to deliver creative output.
• Add motion graphics, transitions and animations.
• Perform colour grading, audio balancing and final rendering.
• Ensure content adheres to GITAM branding and quality standards.
• Support video shoots, photography, and basic videography when needed.
• Stay updated on content trends for Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience in editing academic and promotional content, with a strong understanding of short-form video trends and motion graphics. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce high-quality content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content from lectures, seminars, student fests, and campus events into engaging reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit marketing content, including promotional videos and digital campaigns.
• Handle editing of student and professor video bytes to ensure clarity, consistency, and storytelling impact.
• Apply strong storytelling skills to create emotionally engaging and brand-aligned content.
• Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to deliver the best creative output.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, and animations to elevate content.
• Perform colour grading, audio balancing, and final rendering for various digital platforms.
• Ensure all content adheres to GITAMs branding and quality standards.
• Support video shoots, photography, and basic videography when needed.
• Stay updated on content trends for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Strong knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling techniques.
• Experience in editing short-form content for social media platforms.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail with a creative and proactive approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of social media video strategies and current trends.
• Basic shooting/editing experience with DSLRs or mirrorless cameras is a plus.
• Prior experience in an academic or creative marketing environment is advantageous
