Job summary

Supertails Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a dynamic veterinary leader to head the core clinical practice, drive advanced protocols and operational excellence in the healthcare center.

You will spearhead specialized care units for small animals, oversee surgeries and planned procedures, mentor associates, paravets, and handlers, and build strategic NGO and supplier partnerships to expand holistic pet healthcare offerings while ensuring high-quality care and customer delight.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of total veterinary practice experience.
• 3+ years in small animal practice with surgeries (ABC, dental).
• Experience with NGO/animal welfare associations preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership or center-head experience.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead specialized care units (e.g., Advanced Dermatology/Derma Care) based on center requirements and expertise.
• Maintain a gold standard in small animal practice, regular surgeries, and planned procedures.

Team Management & Development

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Associate Veterinarians, Paravets, and Animal Handlers.
• Act as a clinical mentor, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, empathy, and professional growth.

Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Operations

• Develop strategic networks, NGO associations, and welfare partnerships to enhance holistic pet healthcare management.
• Oversee vendor management, fostering strong relationships with top suppliers and pharmaceutical/pet brands.
• Manage pricing, service catalogues, custom offerings, and medical package customizations to drive business growth.

Quality Assurance & Customer Delight

• Implement rigorous quality audit reviews to ensure clinical protocols meet global safety and compliance standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• 4+ years of total experience in active Veterinary Practice.
• 3+ years of experience in small animal practice, with a proven track record in surgeries and planned procedures (including Animal Birth Control (ABC) and Dental procedures.)

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior experience or strong association with NGOs, rescue centers, or animal welfare organisations.
• Demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership or center-head capacity.
