Job summary

OnTarget Communications in Bangalore invites an experienced Verification & Validation Engineer to join onsite contract. You will lead end-to-end testing, build automation frameworks, and validate cloud/AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end verification and validation activities across functional and non-functional testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
• Validate cloud, hybrid, virtualized, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Build and optimize CI/CD-driven test automation pipelines.
• Drive performance, scalability, resilience, and security testing initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, architecture, and quality teams.
• Produce test evidence, quality reports, and release readiness assessments.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion quality engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in software testing, verification, validation, or quality engineering.
• Strong automation experience using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, UFT/QTP, TestComplete, Cucumber, or similar.
• Programming expertise in Python, Java, C++, or C#.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile development, SDLC, software testing methodologies, and quality processes.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing, intelligent test automation, or AI/ML solution validation. - Must Have
• Strong Linux/Windows scripting and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Industrial Software, SCADA, MES, Historian, or OT environments.
• ISTQB, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, VMware, or AI/ML certifications.
• Experience with observability, performance engineering, security testing, MLOps, or SRE practices.
