Position Summary

The Assistant Transport Manager manages comprehensive employee transportation programs for Stripe's Bengaluru location, ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient commuting services. This role oversees shuttle operations, manages vendor relationships, and optimizes transportation solutions that enhance the employee experience while supporting sustainability objectives. The position serves as the primary transportation resource, coordinating daily operations while continuously improving service quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily shuttle operations including route planning, scheduling, and capacity management
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure service quality and reliability
  • Process transportation requests and manage seat allocation systems
  • Monitor on-time performance and address service disruptions proactively
  • Conduct regular safety and quality inspections of transportation vehicles and services
  • Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures for employee commuting
  • Manage transportation vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance
  • Analyze transportation data to optimize routes, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Respond to employee queries and concerns regarding transportation services
  • Support special transportation requirements for events and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation utilization, costs, and performance metrics
  • Implement safety protocols for all transportation services
  • Coordinate with security teams on transportation security requirements
  • Process vendor invoices and validate service delivery
  • Support sustainability initiatives related to transportation and commuting
  • Prepare regular reports on transportation services performance
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for transportation programs
  • Coordinate emergency transportation services during disruptions or special circumstances
