Qualifications

• Strong functional experience of Workday Payroll and Benefits.
• Experience with Bswift or similar benefits platforms and Workday integration.
• Understanding of US payroll compliance including tax calculations and benefits enrollment.
• Hands-on experience with Workday tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, and Report Writer.
• Knowledge of Workday business processes, compensation rules, and security roles for testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for Workday Payroll and Benefits.
• Perform payroll testing: earnings, deductions, gross-to-net, tax setup, bank file validation.
• Validate Bswift benefits enrollment workflows and data exchange (PECI/EIB).
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing; track defects in JIRA/ALM/TestRail.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Workday tools to increase coverage.
• Validate EIBs, integrations, and reports between Workday and Bswift.
• Document test plans, results, and artifacts for traceability; improve testing processes.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Tester with strong expertise in Workday Payroll and Bswift integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in validating Workday business processes, compensation, payroll, benefits integrations (especially Bswift), and compliance with US payroll standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday Payroll, Benefits based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform detailed payroll testing, including earnings, deductions, gross-to-net calculations, tax setup, and bank file validation.
• Validate Bswift benefits enrollment workflows, eligibility rules, and data exchange (PECI/EIB) between Workday and Bswift.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of the Workday Payroll and Benefits.
• Conduct functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software stability.
• Track and report defects using tools such as SmartSheets, JIRA or Servicenow and collaborate with developers and functional analysts to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Workday testing tools (e.g., Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder) to streamline the testing process and increase test coverage.
• Validate EIBs, integrations, and reports between Workday and Bswift
• Document test plans, test cases, test results, and other relevant artifacts to maintain thorough documentation and ensure traceability throughout the testing process.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong functional experience of Workday Payroll and Benefits.
• Experience with Bswift or similar benefits administration platforms and their integration with Workday.
• Understanding of US payroll compliance including tax calculations, deductions, and benefits enrollment.
• Hands‑on experience with Workday tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Report Writer.
• Solid understanding of Workday business processes, compensation rules, and security roles as they relate to testing.
• Strong data validation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
