Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Playwright Test Automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver. You will implement API automation with Rest Assured and create end-to-end test scenarios for web and API apps, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git.

You will collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria, contributing to test planning and automation

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Java programming with automation best practices.
• Hands-on Playwright and Selenium WebDriver UI automation.
• API testing with Rest Assured.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/REST, JSON/XML and web services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and Git.
• SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
