Job summary

Serrala Group GmbH in India seeks an SAP Software Test Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on SAP testing experience to join our finance automation initiatives. You will design and execute manual tests, contribute to API testing, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure quality across SAP FI and related modules.

The role emphasizes test automation with Tosca and Playwright in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SAP Software Test Engineer experience with hands-on SAP testing.
• Strong SAP FI knowledge or related financial modules.
• Hands-on in manual test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and validation.
• API testing experience with Postman/REST Assured/SoapUI.
• Hands-on Tosca for test automation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of STLC, test strategy, planning, and quality reporting.
• Experience with SAP Financial modules FI/Credit Management is beneficial.
• Playwright experience would be beneficial.
• Familiar with Zephyr or Jira for test management.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• SAP UI5 testing or frontend test automation a plus.
• Basic understanding of Agile delivery and collaboration with devs, BAs, and POs.

Job Description - Technical/ professional qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an SAP Software Test Engineer, with hands-on experience in SAP manual testing.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes, preferably in SAP FI or related financial modules.
• Hands-on experience in manual test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and defect validation.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Tosca for test automation, including test case creation, execution, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of the software testing lifecycle (STLC), including test strategy, test planning, defect lifecycle, and quality reporting.
• Experience with SAP Financial modules, especially FI, Credit Management, or related areas, would be highly beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright would be beneficial
• Knowledge of test management tools such as Zephyr, Jira, or equivalent is an advantage.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing certification is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP UI5 testing or frontend test automation would be a plus.
• Basic understanding of Agile delivery practices and collaboration with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
