Senior Test Engineer
Location: Hyderabad Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office
Overview
The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code and scripts, identifying tools for functional and non‑functional tests, and contributing to automated test frameworks that ensure the delivery of high‑quality software and products. This role designs test plans, procedures, and scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in alignment with product requirements and department quality standards. The Test Engineer collaborates across engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and software modifications.
Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain complex integration, functional, and non‑functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure holistic software quality.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the delivery pipeline, including test automation frameworks, build environments, test environments, and security.
- Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and delivering actionable recommendations.
- Analyze and report test results, monitor trends over time, and provide guidance to teams to support continuous improvement.
- Research and resolve complex escalations for production and software issues to ensure the ongoing stability of the application.
- Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to team members, fostering technical growth and a culture of quality across the engineering organization.

Role Essentials — What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, or a related engineering discipline.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience with test design, test automation, and continuous integration tools.
- Significant experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and source control systems.
- Significant experience in development and scripting on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
- Experience with all phases of the test lifecycle, including regression testing and Agile frameworks.
