Job summary

QualityKiosk in Chennai is seeking a Quality Engineer to own end-to-end QA across non-motor insurance applications, embedding quality practices throughout the SDLC and supporting shift-left and shift-right testing.

You will coordinate with business stakeholders, work with distributed delivery and vendor teams, and ensure on-time certification of releases, while improving production quality KPIs.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of Quality Engineering / Testing experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years in Insurance applications.
• Experience handling business-facing onsite roles.
• Experience with distributed delivery and vendor teams.
• Defect prevention and quality gate compliance.
• Regression testing and release validation.
• Production quality improvement and KPI tracking.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end quality assurance across Non-Motor Insurance applications.
• Embed quality practices throughout the SDLC and support Shift-Left/Right testing.
• Coordinate testing activities with InsureX, Insillion FirstGen, HSCOPE and other apps.
• Perform API testing (Postman/Swagger), SQL validation, and data checks.
• Collaborate with Agile teams using Azure DevOps or JIRA; support CI/CD.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality assurance across Non-Motor Insurance applications by embedding quality practices throughout the SDLC lifecycle. The role will support Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing, release quality certification, stakeholder governance, and production quality improvement initiatives.

Tester will be primarily working on the below applications with the flexibility to work in other applications on need basis. InsureX / Insillion FirstGen HSCOPE AI-enabled Solutions Other applications: Website Digital Platforms Banca Applications Data & Integration Projects RPA Solutions End-to-end business process validation. Regression testing and release validation. API Testing (Postman/Swagger). SQL and Data Validation. Azure DevOps or JIRA. Agile/Scrum methodology. Understanding of CI/CD and Continuous Testing practices. Exposure to test automation frameworks is advantageous.
