Job summary

Synopsys Inc. seeks an experienced simulation engineer to work with customers across aerospace, automotive, energy, electronics and industrial sectors. You will connect advanced simulation methods with real-world workflows, and apply AI-enabled engineering to accelerate product performance.

You will collaborate with global teams, learn new technologies, and contribute to innovation in engineering analysis and digital workflows while delivering impactful technical support.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or related engineering field with 3+ years in an engineering software environment, or M.Tech with 1+ year, or PhD.
• Expert-level knowledge of Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Numerical Methods, and Thermodynamics.
• Demonstrated experience using Ansys Fluids products or equivalent CAE software solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement numerical models to address complex engineering challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain a sense of urgency.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and simulation technologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to learn new technical domains and expand expertise across multiple simulation applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows, identify challenges, and recommend effective simulation-based solutions.
• Develop and implement numerical models to address complex engineering problems across aerospace, automotive, energy, electronics, and industrial domains.
• Apply simulation methods to optimize performance and reliability, accelerating product design cycles.
• Create technical content, contribute to best practices, and drive adoption of advanced simulation technologies across teams.

What You'll Need
