Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator in Bengaluru to install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and HANA. You will handle client administration, transports, monitoring, and disaster recovery, while supporting kernel upgrades and S/4HANA migrations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and collaboration with infra, security, and app teams to ensure system stability and availability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and SAP HANA administration.
• Experience with system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Hands-on experience with TMS, client copy, user administration, background job management, and system monitoring.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems and database administration concepts.
• Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting dumps/logs, and root-cause analysis.
• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP landscape management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP BTP administration activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, security, and application teams to ensure system stability and availability.
• Prepare technical documentation and support go-live, hypercare, and production support activities.
