- 10+ years of experience
- Familiar with Waterfall and Agile Project Implementation Methodologies
- Familiar with SAP Standard Functionalities (eg. ERP, Hana etc.) and Custom Development procedures
- Experience with relevant programming languages & techniques (eg. Abap, SQL, Java, OO, Eclipse etc.)
- Debugging knowhow for troubleshooting
- Experience with relevant IT Technologies and Protocols (eg. Adobe, EDI, ODBC, RFC, XML etc.)
- Multiple end to end project lifecycle experience for implementing SAP & other Business Systems
Key Responsibilities
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities Business Systems Developer
- Create and Extend program specifications for CRs, Projects, new Releases etc.
- Coordinate developments with other (internal or external) developers
- Technical definitions Interfaces (Mapping, Recordtypes) with consumer or sender
- Develop application, interface & migration software using the appropriate tools and dev. Languages
- Define and develop user interfaces using available technologies according to UX guidelines
- Develop and maintain printing solutions (forms, labels) using the appropriate technologies
- Develop integration processes using existing and new frameworks and tools
- Understand and setup of system communication and protocols
- Maintain technical knowledge base
- Support infrastructure setup and keep systems and applications up to date
- Define and maintain quality standards and best practices for development
Secondary Tasks & Responsibilities Business Systems Developer
- Provide detailed technical knowhow to support solution decisions for different options
- Prepare test data and pretest new functionality (Unit Test and Function Test within IT)
- Presentation of finished products and the developed functionalities
- Ensure System is implemented & maintained according to GRC req's & policies (eg. Authoriz., GxP etc.)
- Support audits from governing bodies (eg. Auditor, TüV, FDA etc.)
- Contribute to IT/Business Docu. or validation documents in projects/support as outlined in RACI matrix
- Complete Hyper care phase and resolve support incidents after golive until project signoff
- Define technology of interfaces (WSDL, EDI, IDOC, ODBC etc.)
- Database Design
- Quality inspection and design reviews of technical products/solutions
- Resolve Level 3 Support Issues
- Create, analyze and resolve incidents as per the defined SLAs
- Support recruiting process for internal staff within Sonova processes and tools
- Liase with other cross functional teams in or outside CIT for any other relevant isssue resolution
- Coach and support trainees

- Review existing IT solutions for improvements, stay up-to-date with new technologies

- Database Design
- Define and maintain quality standards and best practices for development
- Quality inspection and design reviews of technical products/solutions
Secondary Tasks & Responsibilities
IT Systems Architect
- Perform feasibilities, prototype pre-liminary solutions and present to business/IT stakeholders
- Ensure global best practice business processes are implemented for any new processes / requirements
- Perform Third Party Software Evaluations within Sonova RFP process
- Provide detailed IT Solution Architecture for new processes and gaps
- Facilitate & perform detailed req.'s eng. with Moscow & detailed Bus. Process Design (Micros)
