Job summary

1JS Global is seeking an experienced technology manager to own end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable, AI-enabled medical learning products. You will lead architecture, AI/RAG delivery and production readiness, guiding teams across Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django, React/Next.js and cloud platforms.

You will translate roadmaps into epics, manage stakeholders, and enforce governance for AI capabilities and secure, scalable releases.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software product development.
• 4+ years in technical project, engineering or delivery leadership.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams delivering customer-facing cloud apps.
• Strong full-stack knowledge: React/Next.js and Java/Spring Boot / Python/Django / Node.js.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum, Jira, SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, and production releases.
• Excellent people management and executive communication.

Looking for an experienced technology manager to own the end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable and AI-enabled medical learning products. The role combines project execution, people leadership, technical governance and stakeholder management, with sufficient hands-on depth to guide architecture, AI/RAG delivery and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities - Delivery & Stakeholders

• Own delivery from requirement clarification and technical planning through development, testing, release and production stabilization.
• Translate the product roadmap into epics, milestones, resource plans, sprint commitments and measurable release outcomes.
• Manage scope, timelines, dependencies, budgets, risks and blockers; communicate status and corrective actions transparently to senior leadership.
• Partner with Product, Business, Content, Academic and Medical teams to clarify requirements, challenge unrealistic timelines and prioritize learner and business value.
• Establish delivery measures covering predictability, cycle time, defect leakage, rework, deployment success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Technical Architecture & AI Governance

• Guide architecture across Java/Spring Boot or Python/Django backends, React/Next.js frontends, APIs, microservices, databases, caching and event-driven workflows.
• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, scalability, performance, availability, cost and maintainability requirements.
• Lead delivery of intelligent tutoring, semantic search, question generation, summarization, adaptive learning and recommendation capabilities.
• Guide managed or self-hosted LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings and vector databases while enforcing content entitlement and role-based access.
• Define AI evaluation and governance for groundedness, relevance, hallucination, safety, latency, cost, prompt/model versions, auditability and expert validation.
• Ensure prototypes become tested, observable and maintainable production capabilities; address prompt injection, data leakage and unauthorized access.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in software product development, including at least 4 years in technical project, engineering or delivery leadership.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams delivering customer-facing cloud applications.
• Strong full-stack architecture knowledge across React/Next.js and Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django or Node.js.
• Practical knowledge of LLM applications, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI evaluation and secure integration.
• Strong command of Agile/Scrum, Jira, SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud operations and production releases.
• Excellent people management, estimation, risk management, conflict resolution and executive communication.
