Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer in Bengaluru to join a high-performing integration team building and deploying MuleSoft solutions that connect Salesforce to diverse systems and platforms.

You will work with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and CloudHub to deliver API-centric integrations, while collaborating with global teams and stakeholders in an agile environment. A strong emphasis on API security, monitoring, and performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of MuleSoft experience and strong integration capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and API security patterns.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and deploy MuleSoft services, APIs, and apps using Anypoint Studio and API Manager.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on backlogs and maintenance work in Agile settings.
• Assess impact of requirements on MuleSoft, Salesforce, and related systems.
• Ensure security, logging, auditing, and performance monitoring of integrations.

A MuleSoft Developer with at least 5+ years of experience of working with the platform, joining a high performing MuleSoft integration team integrating our Salesforce orgs with a variety of other systems and platforms.
You are a self-motivated professional who likes to drive topics taking responsibility.

Your typical tasks include

Work using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and API Manager to build, create, integrate, and deploy services, APIs, and other Mule applications to CloudHub supporting the business to achieve their goals.

Assess the impact of new requirements on MuleSoft, Salesforce, and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes

Work in a team centric environment where a culture of innovation allows your input and ideas to become part of the solution.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to deliver on a backlog of project and maintenance work.

Develop plan for delivering on commitments, and then execute on those plans following agile methodologies.

Facilitate, research, model, and define requirements, creating value for Volvo Group, Dealers, and Customers.

Sharing of information and learnings, all while working in a fast-paced environment

About you - must have

In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, Event-driven Architecture, Message Broker technologies (MQ) and experience of building various kinds of integrations between MuleSoft and other platforms.

Experience with implementing API security patterns and frameworks.

Experience with Policy, Logging, Auditing and Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting.

Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in different geographies.

Excellent written (Business & Technical), verbal and listening communication skills.

Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets.

You are enthusiastic as a person and love a changing environment.

MuleSoft certifications; Platform Developer Level 1 as a minimum

Education

A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering science, Information Technology, or other equivalent/related programs.

Good to have

MuleSoft certifications; Platform Developer Level 2 and/or Platform Architect.

Experience working with Salesforce integrations

Experience integrating with IBM MQ and SAP

Experience within other integration platforms, such as IBM API Connect

Experience with Continuous Integration\Continuous Development tools like Azure Pipelines and Copado
