Job summary

Velankani Communications Technologies (VCTI) in Bengaluru is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of OLS lineside modules. You will translate architecture and requirements into detailed low-level designs and implementation plans, shaping the software that powers next‑gen telecom systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical technologies: DWDM, ROADM, amplifiers, Raman, OTDR, DGE.
• Proficient in C++ with OO design and patterns.
• Embedded Linux and/or RTOS development experience.
• Solid telecom software architecture and embedded platform development.
• IPC, multi-threading, and real-time systems experience.
• Familiarity with NETCONF/YANG, SNMP, or gRPC for management.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and sprint-based delivery.
• Optical performance monitoring and fault management concepts.

Responsibilities
